PDFLad converts your files inside your own web browser. This page explains what that means for your data.

Your files

Files you choose are processed on your device and are never uploaded to our server or anyone else's. When you move from one tool to another, your file is kept briefly in your browser's own storage on your device and deleted as soon as the next tool opens it, or after 10 minutes.

What we store

If you switch between light and dark mode, your choice is saved in your browser so it's remembered next time. We don't use tracking cookies, and we don't create accounts.

Third-party services

The conversion engines (pdf.js, pdf-lib, jsPDF, SheetJS, Mammoth, JSZip and html2canvas) and our fonts are loaded from public content delivery networks: cdnjs.cloudflare.com, cdn.jsdelivr.net and Google Fonts. Like any website, these services receive your IP address and browser details when they send these files. They never receive your documents.

Server logs

Our web host may keep standard access logs, such as IP addresses and pages visited, for security and maintenance.
